* Know at least 3 jokes that aren't dirty or offensive. Jokes
are a great way to cure awkward silences.

* Never, ever, talk about your ex when with your date...or
any man you are interested in. Further, don't check out other
men. It is rude and devalues the other person by making them
feel less attractive.

* Don't just talk about yourself, show some interest in his life
also.

* Send a flower to him, either at work or his home. We like
the thought of that and the gesture! Follow up with an invitation
to dinner or just a walk in the park!

* If you are interested in a man, make eye contact with him
and when he looks at you, smile!

* Men do not like to feel financially abused, so after a few
dates, invite him out and pay for the date!

* Don't wear anything too revealing on a first date. Men are
visually stimulated so if you want to show off your personality,
don't wear anything too distracting.

* Express your ideas and opinions, but don't spend the entire
conversation talking about what you believe. Ask your date
for his point of view on the subject.
